International Prize UNESCO-ALFOZAN
On Monday 19th June, the first award ceremony UNESCO-Al Fozan Holding Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists in the STEM was held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. This Prize gives recognition to the achievements of young people that are conducive to socio-economic transformation and development on a global scale. From now on, the prize will be awarded every two years to five laureates from UNESCO’s five geographical regions (Africa, Arab States, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean).
