Le projet

EDF A CHAMPION IN MY SCHOOL

To raise awareness of disability and Paralympic sport among children as part of a major programme that EDF is putting in place throughout the year to promote our Paralympic athletes and raise awareness of disability among the youngest.

A programme supported by Amélie Le Fur, Arnaud Assoumani, Benjamin Daviet, Théo Curin…

OUR PROPOSAL

A 6-date tour which, thanks to demonstrations, allows for a lasting change in mentalities around
handisport & Paralympic athletes by magnifying the performances & emotions of the French
Paralympic Team athletes.

During one day, different activities such as wheelchair basketball, wheelchair challenge, cecifoot, boccia (adapted petanque), are set up in schools to allow children to put themselves in a situation of disability and to better understand its specificities. The activities are supervised by educators and an athlete from the French Paralympic team.

RESULTS

30 schools attended the event.
7,500 students reached.
