L’ORÉAL BRANDSTORM 2021
WHAT THEY NEEDED
The Brandstorm competition is an event that has been organised by L’Oréal’s Human Resources department for the last 29 years. For the second time, the event took place in a 100% digital format. For this new edition, the teams’ mission was to defend their project on the issue of how to “Invent the beauty shopping experience through entertainment”.
THE FORMAT
SEMI-FINAL:
The Brandstorm semi-final took place in Médiactive’s studio. It brought together the 200 students (67 projects) preselected by the L’Oréal Jury during the national finals. One week before the semi-final, the L’Oréal Jury members were asked to vote for their favourite project on the platform, and for the first time in Brandstorm’s history, employees and the general public were also allowed to vote!
FINAL:
The 6 teams in the final defended their project live in front of the L’Oréal grand jury and, during the deliberations, were able to enjoy an extraordinary performance by the Beatboxing group Berywam, 2018 World Champions in their category!
The winners will have their project incubated at Station F and developed with the L’Oréal teams.
