In the continuity of our contract with Qatar Airways, following the Arab Cup which took place in Nov/Dec 2021, the group entrusted us with the production and supervision of some of their activations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM.
Qatar Airways, one of the most important sponsors of the competition, wished to create the most qualitative and engaging experience possible for the football fans & locals in and outside Doha, to reinforce QR’s reputation as the 7 times best airline of the year and also promote the hospitality and savoir-faire of Qatar as being the 1st middle east country to host the FWC.
A promotional roadshow ahead of the World Cup in 11 European cities (London, Manchester, Brussels, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Madrid, Munich, Amsterdam, Zurich) with a hero game/challenge with Neymar and some entertainment. From August to October, 9108 km for +11000 visitors.
A pop up event as part of the promotional tour in 8 international countries with a focus on the Neymar challenge : play as good or better than Neymar. Brazil (Sao Paulo), Australia (Sao Paulo), Texas (Dallas), Saudi Arabia (Jeddah), Japan (Tokyo), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), India (Mumbai), South Africa (Johannesburg)
A 350m2 pavilion installed in the heart of the main fan zone of Doha, the FIFA FAN FESTIVAL (capacity of 40,000 to 50,000 people), including various activations (Neymar challenge, photocall, VR experience, foosballs, subsoccer tables..) as well as a 105m Zipline, that was one of the biggest attractions of the FFF. + 95 000 people for 31 days
10×10 m booths dedicated to the fans in each Brand Activation Area, in front of each of the 8 stadiums used during the World Cup, i.e. 3 activations: Reflex Wall, Neymar Challenge, Dark Room, & Football training challenge (capacity of the stadiums = +/- between 40,000 and 80,000 people). And at the same time, the interior design of 11 skyboxes (VIP lounge) in the 8 stadiums (although subcontracted to another agency). +48 500 people for 23 days.
3 freestylers who perform on the main FIFA stage, and on the Qatar Airways areas.
