ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING + INVESTOR DAY

PAI PARTNERS INVESTOR DAY
INVESTOR DAY
Usually held face-to-face in Paris, London and New York, Investor Day 2021 had to be organised online this year, bringing together financial analysts and investors on the same day. A speech in Paris (where the investment fund is headquartered) from Terminal 7’s studio at Porte de Versailles.
The 13m wide curved screen was given a visual identity and new jingles were created, highlighting the iconic buildings of the 3 cities through a skyline, which created depth and dynamism. A sober and uncluttered set design in the colours of PAI Partners including a lightweight desk and seating areas for the speakers.
SubscribeTalks interspersed with jingles and videos, from the set with 8 speakers and 4 duplexes (London, Munich and Barcelona), all hosted by the journalist Tom Burges Watson, who usually works for France 24.
A 100% English, scripted programme mixing pre-recorded, live and duplex sessions for 3 hours, for about 230 people who watched the live stream and about 260 people who connected to the platform.
PAI PARTNERS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Although the meeting is usually face-to-face, in 2020, the PAI Partners group wanted to organise a “phygital” event for obvious health reasons. This was a first for the international investment fund.
OUR PROPOSAL
So the aim was to reinvent the format of this annual event, in order to transform it into a dynamic live stream and create a production worthy of a TV studio.
Alongside this, a platform – via the service provider Concise – was set up to transmit the live stream, including a live Q&A tool and provision of live and pre-recorded content (speakers’ biographies, slides and videos) for the participants.
SubscribeTHE FORMAT
Sober and classy set dressing for Canal+’s studio 1, comprising an elegant set design with use of all the screens for playing energising jingles.
A custom-made desk along with original furniture in the brand’s colours.
Finally, a presentation by Tom Burges Watson, from France 24, with 8 face-to-face and 4 remote speakers.
RESULTS
A 100% English, scripted programme mixing pre-recorded, live and duplex sessions for 2.5 hours.
Statistics: about 300 people watched the live stream and about 350 connected to the platform.
