SODEXO QUALITY OF LIFE
What does services provider Sodexo have in common with actress Jane Fonda, futurist Ray Kurzweil and economist Jeremy Rifkin? They all believe that quality of life is an under-explored way to improve individual and collective performance. Having thought about this issue for a long time, Sodexo launched a major event around it, ensuring the company’s position as the leader in quality of life services.
In 2015 took place the first Quality of Life Conference in New York, with 50 high-profile speakers from different countries and backgrounds. They included Rifkin, media mogul Arianna Huffington, pioneering businessman Ricardo Semler and mindfulness guru Jon Kabat-Zinn, exploring themes from smarter workspaces to employee engagement.

How to go further in 2017? The conference was moved to London and invited some 600 leaders from a variety of sectors and more than 30 countries. From an Oscar-winning actress to a Google director, a female Iranian astronaut and the founder of a school training “solar grandmas” in India, our speakers discussed technology and new business models that promise growth along with personal well-being. They also addressed the digital revolution, AI and robotics. In addition to talks and panels, a “Discovery” space offered an immersive, interactive way to experience the innovations that will change our quality of life tomorrow. Once again, the conference was inspiring, profound, even life-changing.
